The introduction of African Insight’s portfolio of Work and Volunteer Experiences is a project that has been many years in the planning. African Insight has organised and hosted academic field trips for Colleges and Universities for over a decade making this a natural extension of our service. With an increasingly competitive job market a degree or diploma without experience is often no longer enough to secure that dream job.
Sorting through the hundreds of opportunities that are available is no small undertaking and is not something we undertook lightly.

Many opportunities offered are exclusive arrangements between African Insight and a project owner and in all instances African Insight undertakes to ensure that participants are vetted to ensure that they are appropriate for the project they will be undertaking. Therefore it is important that all applicants:
- Register with African Insight by completing a General Application for Work and Volunteer Experiences.
- Agree to our Terms of Business For Work and Volunteer Experiences.
- All successful applicants will agree to and sign a Code of Conduct.
It is important that participants realise that they are making a commitment to deliver a certain level of service to the project owner and are not anticipating to be ‘entertained’ but to participate.
